file for this type of application.
It is the users responsibility to configure the linker command file properly when the Dis-
tinct Code Segment for Each Module checkbox is selected.
Default Type of Char. The ANSI C Standard permits the compiler to regard char vari-
ables that are not otherwise qualified as either
signed or unsigned, at the compilers
discretion; the compiler is only required to consistently apply the choice to all such vari-
ables. So in the following declarations:
signed char sc;
unsigned char uc;
char cc;
the signedness of cc is left to the compiler. The Default Type of Char drop-down menu
allows you to make this decision. The selection,
Signed or Unsigned, is applied to all
char variables whose signedness is not explicitly declared. The default value for ZNEO is
Unsigned.
Project Settings—Librarian Page. This page is available for Static Library projects only.
To configure the librarian, observe the following procedure:
1. Select
Settings from the Project menu. The Project Settings dialog box is dis-
played.
2. Click the
Librarian page.
3. Use the
Output File Name field to specify where your static library file is saved.
